Inceptia is the annual academic fest of R.G. Kar Medical College, Kolkata.

The name means a beginning. Each year students from across the region gather to quiz, present and learn the craft of medicine from people who practise it. The 2K26 edition, The Genesis of Erudition, is built around one idea: knowledge starts as a spark and becomes care.

Inceptia is organised in association with Lobelia, the cultural and fest committee of the college.
